びっくり！こんなことがあるなんて！Wow! I can't believe something like this is happening!哇！真不敢相信这种事竟然会发生！(2025年2月13日)

なんと！ 私たちの学校に北川フラムさんが来てくださいました

こんにちは！ 今日は、私の学校であった「ちょっとすごい出来事」について書きたいと思います。

実は先日、あの「瀬戸内国際芸術祭」や「大地の芸術祭」の総合ディレクターを務められている北川フラムさんが、私たちの学校に来て、特別に授業をしてくださいました！

ダメ元で送ったメールから実現！

私の通っている中学校には「未来創造科」という少し変わった科目があります。テーマは「Well-being（幸せ）」で、さまざまな探究活動を行っています。その授業の一環で、「自分たちでお話を聞いてみたい方をお呼びして、授業をお願いする」という活動がありました。私はどうしても北川フラムさんのお話が聞きたくて、昨年末に思い切ってご依頼のメールをお送りしました。ものすごくお忙しい方なので、まさか来ていただけるとは思っていなかったのですが、なんと、引き受けてくださったんです！

私の学校は、瀬戸内海に浮かぶ広島県の島にあります。

今年はちょうど瀬戸内国際芸術祭が開催される年ですが、同じ瀬戸内海といっても、メイン会場になっている香川県や岡山県の島々からはかなり遠いです。島同士が船で直接つながっているわけでもないので、来るだけでも本当に不便な場所です。それなのに、北川さんは前日から私たちの島に泊まり込みで来てくださいました。

「それぞれ違う価値観をもってほしい」

授業のなかで、特に私の心に強く残っているお話があります。それは、北川さんが「なぜ自然の環境を活かした芸術祭を開催しようと思ったのか」というお話でした。

北川さんは、「現代は人々の価値観が似てきてしまっていると感じたから。みんなが同じになるのではなく、それぞれ違う価値観をもつようになってほしいという願いがあった」とおっしゃっていました。

「どこでも同じ状態で見られる美術館ではなく、日々環境が変わる場所（自然の中）にアートを置く。そこへ人々が足を運ぶことで、多様な価値観に触れることができるようになると思った」—この言葉を聞いて、アートと自然、そして私たちがそこに行くことの意味がつながって、ハッとさせられました。

感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです

あとからお聞きしたのですが、北川さんは「中学生からの依頼だから、行かなくてはいけない」と思ってくださったそうです。まだ中学生で、世の中の知らないことがたくさんある今の時期に、こんなにスケールの大きな深い考え方に触れることができて、本当に嬉しく思います。芸術祭の開催を控えたとんでもなくお忙しい時期に、こんな遠い島まで足を運んで、私たちに素敵なメッセージを届けてくださった北川フラムさん。本当に、本当にありがとうございました！

この貴重な経験を忘れずに、これからの探究学習ももっとがんばっていきたいです

Guess What? Mr.Fram Kitagawa Came to Our School! 

Hi everyone! Today, I want to share something truly amazing that happened at my school recently.

Believe it or not, Mr. Fram Kitagawa—the General Director of the Setouchi Triennale and the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale—visited us to give a special guest lecture!

A Dream Come True from a Single Email!

At my junior high school, we have a unique subject called "Future Creation." Our theme is "Well-being," and we engage in various inquiry-based learning projects.

As part of this class, we had an assignment to invite someone we’d love to learn from to give a lecture. I really wanted to hear from Mr. Kitagawa, so I took a chance and sent him an invitation email late last year. Since he is incredibly busy, I never truly expected him to say yes... but to my surprise, he actually accepted!

Our school is on an island in Hiroshima Prefecture, floating in the Seto Inland Sea.

This year marks the Setouchi Triennale. Even though we are in the same sea, our island is quite far from the main venues in Kagawa and Okayama. There are no direct ferry routes between the islands, so it's a very inconvenient place to get to. Despite that, Mr. Kitagawa arrived a day early and stayed overnight on our island just for us.

"I want people to have diverse values"

One story from his lecture stayed with me. He talked about why he decided to start art festivals that utilize the natural environment.

He said, "I felt that people's values were becoming too similar in modern society. My wish was for people to have their own unique values instead of everyone being the same."

He continued, "Instead of a museum where art is seen in the same condition every day, I wanted art to be in places where the environment changes daily—in nature. I thought that by having people actually visit these places, they could encounter a diversity of values." Hearing these words, the connection between art, nature, and the meaning of us physically going there finally clicked for me.

Filled with Gratitude

I found out later that Mr. Kitagawa felt he "had to go" simply because the request came from junior high students.

I feel so lucky to have encountered such a grand and profound way of thinking while I'm still a student with so much more to learn.

Despite being extremely busy preparing for the upcoming art festival, he traveled all the way to our remote island and shared such a wonderful message. Mr. Kitagawa, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!

I will never forget this precious experience, and it has inspired me to work even harder on my future studies! 

太棒了！北川弗兰姆先生来到我们的学校！ 

大家好！今天我想和大家分享一件最近发生在学校里的“超级大事”。

其实就在前几天，担任“濑户内国际艺术祭”和“大地艺术祭”总总监的北川弗兰姆（Mr.Fram Kitagawa）先生，专门来到我们的学校，为我们上了一堂特别的课！

发了一封“试一试”的邮件，竟然梦想成真了！

我就读的中学有一门比较特别的课程叫“未来创造科”。主题是“Well-being（幸福）”，我们会进行各种探究活动。

作为课程的一环，有一个活动是“邀请想见的人来学校讲课”。我非常想听北川先生的分享，于是在去年年底，抱着试一试的心态给他发了一封邀请邮件。北川先生平时非常忙碌，我本以为他肯定没时间，结果……他竟然答应了！

特意提前一天来到偏远的小岛……！

我们的学校位于广岛县，是濑户内海上的一个小岛。

虽然今年刚好是濑户内国际艺术祭举办的日子，但即使同在濑户内海，我们的小岛距离作为主会场的香川县和冈山县还是挺远的。岛屿之间没有直达船，交通非常不便。然而，北川先生为了我们，特意提前一天来到岛上住了一晚。

“希望每个人都能拥有不同的价值观”

在讲课过程中，最让我印象深刻的是关于“为什么要利用自然环境举办艺术祭”的话题。

北川先生说：“我感觉到现代人的价值观变得越来越趋同。我希望大家不要变得一模一样，而是能够拥有各自不同的价值观。”

他还说：“比起在任何地方看都一样的美术馆，我更想在环境每天都在变化的大自然中放置艺术品。通过人们亲自造访这些地方，就能接触到多样化的价值观。” 听完这段话，艺术、自然，以及我们特意前往那里的意义，瞬间在我脑海中连成了一线。

满怀感激之情

后来听老师说，北川先生是因为看到是“初中生发来的邀请”，觉得“一定要去一趟”。

作为初中生，在还有很多事情不懂的成长阶段，能接触到这么宏大且深刻的思想，我真的感到非常幸运。

在艺术祭开幕前最忙碌的时期，北川先生能特意赶到这么远的小岛，为我们带来这么精彩的分享，真的非常感谢！

我永远不会忘记这份宝贵的经历，今后的探究学习我也会更加努力的！
