松代郷土資料館でドキドキの一人受付！たくさんの出会いに感謝の2日間

こんにちは！夏のこへび隊活動、2日目のレポートです。

今日は、まつだい駅からすぐの場所にある「松代郷土資料館」でボランティアをしてきました！

ここは以前も訪れたことがあり、私にとっては少し馴染みのある場所。農舞台のすぐ近くということもあって、たくさんのお客さんが立ち寄ってくださる賑やかなスポットです。

なんと今回、初めて「一人での受付」に挑戦しました！

最初は「私だけで大丈夫かな…」とドキドキでしたが、実は完全な一人ではありません。シャトルバスの運転手さんが、運行の合間はずっと一緒にいてくださったんです。運転手さんの存在がとても心強く、安心して活動に集中することができました。

つながっていく芸術祭の「おもしろさ」

今回の活動で一番感動したのは、「楽しさの連鎖」を実感できたことです。

以前ここを訪れたとき、受付の方から教えてもらった「妖怪」のエピソード。今度は私が受付として、新しく来られたお客さんにそのお話を伝えました。

さらに、運転手さんからも色々な地域の雑学を教えていただき、私の知識もまたひとつ増えました。こうして誰かから聞いた面白いお話が、また次の誰かへと受け継がれていく。これこそが芸術祭の醍醐味なんだな、としみじみ感じました。

海を越えたコミュニケーションと新しい世界

農舞台が近いこともあり、海外からのお客さんもたくさん来場されました。

拙い英語ではありましたが、一生懸命作品の説明をし、なんとか理解していただけたときは本当にホッとしました！「もっと正確に、もっと魅力を伝えたい！」という気持ちが湧いてきて、母国語以外の語学を学ぶモチベーションがぐんと上がりました。

また、運転手さんと仲良しの常連さんたちともおしゃべりする機会がありました。

芸術祭のお話はもちろん、今まで全く知らなかった「バイク旅」の世界についても教えてもらい、4人で大盛り上がり！やっぱり、自分とは違う経験をしてきた方のお話を聞くのは、最高にワクワクします。

活動を終えて

今回の夏のこへび隊活動は2日間という短い期間でしたが、数えきれないほどの学びと発見がありました。

「次はもっと長く参加したい！」「冬の芸術祭の姿も見てみたい！」

そう心から思える、最高に楽しい2日間でした。

First Solo Reception at Matsudai History Museum! Two Days of Gratitude and Encounters 

Hi everyone! This is my report for the second day of my summer "Kohebi-tai" volunteer activities.

Today, I volunteered at the Matsudai History Museum, located just a short walk from Matsudai Station.

I had visited this place before, so it felt a bit familiar to me. Since it’s right next to "Nohbutai," it’s a lively spot where many visitors stop by.

My First Solo Reception and a Reliable Ally

For the first time, I took on the challenge of "running the reception desk by myself!"

At first, my heart was racing, thinking, "Can I really do this alone?" But in reality, I wasn't completely on my own. The shuttle bus driver stayed with me whenever he wasn't out on his routes. Having him there was so encouraging, and it allowed me to focus on my work with a sense of security.

The "Continuity of Fun" at the Art Festival

What moved me most today was experiencing the "chain of joy."

When I visited this museum in the past, the staff member at the desk told me all about the "hidden yōkai" (supernatural creatures) hidden in the building. This time, as the one behind the desk, I passed those stories on to the new visitors!

Furthermore, the bus driver taught me various trivia about the local area, adding even more to my own knowledge. I truly felt that this is the essence of an art festival—how interesting stories heard from one person are passed down to the next.

Cross-Border Communication and New Worlds

Being close to Nohbutai, we also had many visitors from overseas.

My English was far from perfect, but I gave it my all to explain the exhibits. I felt such a wave of relief when they finally understood! It really boosted my motivation to study languages other than my mother tongue, making me think, "I want to explain things more accurately and share the charm of this place even better!"

I also had the chance to chat with some regulars who are friends with the driver.

We talked about the art festival, and they even introduced me to the world of "motorcycle touring"—something I knew absolutely nothing about. The four of us had a great time talking! As I thought, hearing stories from people with completely different life experiences is so exciting.

Reflections on My Activities

My summer Kohebi-tai activities only lasted two days, but they were filled with countless lessons and discoveries.

"I want to participate for a longer period next time!" "I want to see what the art festival looks like in winter!"

These two days were so much fun that I truly felt this way from the bottom of my heart.

在松代乡土资料馆挑战独自接待！充满邂逅与感激的两天

大家好！这是我今年夏天参加“小蛇队”活动的第二天报告。

今天，我在距离松代站不远的“松代乡土资料馆”担任志愿者。

因为以前来过这里，所以对我来说并不陌生。由于这里紧邻“农舞台”，是一个游客络绎不绝的热闹景点。

第一次独自接待与可靠的伙伴

这次我竟然挑战了“独自一人负责接待”！

起初我心里一直打鼓：“我一个人真的没问题吗……” 但实际上，我并不是完全孤军奋战。穿梭巴士的司机师傅在不出车的时候一直陪着我。师傅的存在让我感到非常踏实，能够安心地投入到工作中。

艺术祭“趣味”的传递

这次活动让我最感动的是，我真切体会到了“快乐的连锁反应”。

以前我作为游客来这里时，接待人员曾向我介绍了建筑里隐藏的“妖怪”传说。而这一次，轮到我作为接待人员，把这些有趣的故事讲给新来的游客听了！

不仅如此，司机师傅还教了我很多关于当地的杂学知识，让我的见识又增长了不少。像这样把从别人那里听来的趣事再传给下一个人，我深深觉得这正是艺术祭的魅力所在。

跨越国界的沟通与新世界

因为靠近农舞台，今天也来了不少外国游客。

虽然我的英语还不熟练，但我还是拼命地向他们解释作品。当对方终于听懂时，我真的如释重负！这也让我产生了一种“我想解释得更准确、把魅力传达得更好”的愿望，学习外语的动力瞬间倍增。

另外，我还有机会和几位与司机师傅很熟的常客聊天。

我们不仅聊了艺术祭，他们还带我了解了之前完全陌生的“摩托车旅行”世界，四个人聊得热火朝天！果然，听不同经历的人分享故事是最让人兴奋的事了。

活动感言

这次夏天的“小蛇队”活动虽然只有短短两天，却让我收获了数不清的学习与发现。

“下次想参加更长时间！”“好想看看冬天的艺术祭是什么样子！”

这两天的经历让我发自内心地产生了这样的想法，真的非常开心。
